Remember when Converge Information and Communications Technology Solutions Inc. started giving free permanent speed upgrades of up to 300 Mbps to its subscribers last December 15?

Well, there’s another ongoing round of free speed boosts, which, as Converge ICT says, is its gift to consumers “to celebrate Christmas and cap off the year on an even better note.” The year 2020 marks the time the telecommunications company reached a million subscribers.

According to Converge, “Both existing and new subscribers of Plan 1500 now get to enjoy a permanent upgrade to their plan without any additional fees, accompanying Converge’s free internet-speed upgrades in their other consumer plans.”

This means that those who are on the telco’s standard residential plan will get an increase of up to 35 Mbps — 10 Mbps up from the previous 25 Mbps. And as we reported earlier, that new speed can still get to a maximum of 45 Mbps if one pays an additional P99 (around $2 converted) on top of his or her internet plan.

Here’s a summary for you to easily check the offers:

Converge says it will notify users of this development via email or SMS. Only those whose accounts are up to date will get the free speed boosts.

One more thing — another offer, actually: Converge ICT reveals that new subscribers can “enjoy their first month completely free when they apply for select residential plans from December 12, 2020, to January 31, 2021.”
