It’s what we’ve been waiting for — Xiaomi consecutively putting up Mi Authorized Stores in the Philippines. Just a few weeks after opening a shop at the annex of SM North EDSA, the company is inaugurating its fourth dedicated retail location in the country on September 30. And you read it here first.

The said store is located at the third level of Gateway Mall in Araneta Center, Cubao. It will be Xiaomi’s third outlet in Quezon City after the branches at TriNoma and SM North EDSA. The flagship shop is situated at the Cyberzone area of SM Megamall.

Freebies and raffle prizes await customers who will be at the opening at Gateway Mall end of this month. We don’t know the final mechanics of the contest yet, as the poster below has not been shared by Xiaomi Philippines’ official social-media accounts at this time. But if it’s going to be the same as past promos, you will have to pre-register first. Check this page for the mechanics of the previous giveaway.

(Update, 2 p.m., September 23: The mechanics — and the event announcement — have been published a day after we reported about the Gateway Mall Mi Authorized Store opening. We’ve embedded the post below.)

Here’s the post!

Xiaomi director for Southeast Asia John Chen had mentioned to us in March that they were planning to put up five Mi Authorized Stores in the Philippines in 2018.

Well, we’re already expecting the ones at SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City and Gmall or Gaisano Mall in Davao City to to be opened to the public soon, so it looks like their plans have changed — for the better.
