Today, Huawei itself revealed that, yes, there is a Nova 5T — and the global first official look is already scheduled for August 25.

Dubbed #WeAreNova Fashion Showcase, the event will happen at the Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week, the same annual affair where the Huawei Nova 3 and Nova 3i figured prominently in Malaysia last year.

If you will be in the area on that date, you have a chance to be one of the first lucky few to see the new Nova in person by joining this OOTD contest.

Announcement of the date of the Huawei Nova 5T’s first official look. Will the phone be launched in the Philippines?

According to the Google listing, the Huawei Nova 5T features a 5.5-inch screen with thin bezels and a hole-punch selfie camera; 8GB of RAM; either 128GB or 256GB of storage; and Android 9-based EMUI 9.

There’s no word yet about its processor, cameras, battery, and other specs, though. The back of the smartphone has not been revealed either, so we’re not sure what to expect.

Will Huawei Philippines bring the Nova 5T here? Hopefully. After all, the Nova series is hugely popular in the country.
