The global variant of the Redmi K20 Pro is finally official in the Philippines, about two weeks after it was launched.

As we at Revü spotted earlier, the Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro will be available on Lazada starting September 9, incidentally one of the biggest shopping seasons of the year, and at Mi Authorized Stores beginning September 14. Preorder for the Flame Red, Glacier Blue, Carbon Black, and Pearl White color variants starts September 6 online and September 7 offline.

And the price? Do we even have to say that it’s low, as with those of the company’s other products? The 6GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB models of the Mi 9T Pro are selling for only P18,990 (around $366) and P20,490 ($395), making it the most affordable Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 phone that’s officially available in the Philippines. The higher-specced Xiaomi Mi 9 with the same configurations are currently priced at P21,990 ($423) and P23,990 ($462).

The device boasts three cameras on the back, one of which is a 48-megapixel Sony IMX582 sensor. The 20-megapixel selfie camera is a pop-up, allowing Xiaomi to make use of a full-screen design. The 6.3-inch display, by the way, is AMOLED, and it has a fingerprint sensor under it.

Keeping the lights on is a 4,000mAh battery with support for 27-watt fast charging, so you should be able to use the smartphone for at least a day.

The newly released Android 10 is already rolling out to Redmi K20 Pro units. We’re hoping that means the Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro’s Android 9.0 Pie-based MIUI 10 will be updated, too. Cross your fingers.
