Back when we reported that Tecno Mobile Philippines already started teasing the successors to the Camon 17 units, all we knew was that at least two of them will become available here. Now, we know more about the local release.

(Update, November 4: We now know the Tecno Camon 18 series phones’ prices in the Philippines!)

The brand has confirmed that the Tecno Camon 18 Premier, Tecno Camon 18P, and Tecno Camon 18 — yes, all three of the new Camon 18 series phones — are going to arrive in the country. Preorder starts November 6, and they will be sold on both Lazada and Shopee.

The product listings are already up on the latter e-commerce platform; they’re not on Lazada yet, though that should change soon. It seems that the Premier, the 18P, and the regular 18 will be available in 8GB + 256GB, 8GB + 128GB, and 6GB + 128GB variants, respectively. It looks like all colors will be offered in the Philippines, too.

There’s no indication at this time if the said versions will be the ones offered to Lazada shoppers as well, but we’ll let you know as soon as we have more details.

Launching in the Philippines in November: Tecno Camon 18, Camon 18P, and Camon 18 Premier, in that order

As expected, the new lineup is all about mobile photography and videography, with the most premium of the three even getting a “gimbal camera” (same as the term used by Vivo when promoting some of its X series models) and a 60x zoom lens. You can see all their specs at the bottom of this article.

In Nigeria, where the smartphones are now up for purchase, the price starts at ₦182,000 (roughly P22,513 or $444) for the Tecno Camon 18 Premier, ₦128,000 (P15,833 or $312) for the Tecno Camon 18P, and ₦102,000 (P12,617 or $249) for the Tecno Camon 18.
