Huawei’s new Smart Office products

Highlights of the Huawei APAC Smart Office Launch 2022

The Huawei MateBook X Pro boasts a 14.2-inch Real Color FullView Display that received the world’s first Eye Comfort 3.0 certification by TÜV Rheinland. It uses magnesium-alloy materials and a new coating technology to make the notebook super lightweight, premium, and hard-wearing. There are four microphones and six speakers here. Plus you also get a 12th Gen Intel Core processor with EVO certification, shark-fin fan cooling system, Super Turbo function, and Super Device technology.

The Huawei MateBook 16s and MateBook D 16 are two of the company’s biggest and most powerful laptops thus far. They sport 16-inch displays with advanced software- and hardware-based solutions to protect your eyes and are based on Intel’s latest 12th Gen H-series Core processors. Being a professional-grade notebook, the 16s is targeted at pros such as graphic designers and video editors. The D 16, on the other hand, is for those who want a big machine with faster, more reliable WiFi, thanks to its Metaline antenna, and those who need to do a lot of number-crunching, which its integrated numpad offers.

The Huawei MatePad Pro 11 is an 11-inch tablet that delivers an upgraded 120Hz refresh rate almost-bezel-less screen and German TÜV Rheinland Full Care Display 3.0 certification. It comes with a redesigned back cover with a smooth matte finish and a circular rear-facing camera system; six speakers; and support for stylus input via the pressure-sensitive Huawei M-Pencil 2022. It’s best paired with the optional, new folio case that comes with a detachable magnetic keyboard and kickstand.

The Huawei MateView SE is an entry-grade monitor. It sports a 23.8-inch IPS FullView Display with a 1080p resolution, 92% screen-to-body ratio, 90% P3 color gamut, and 100% sRGB color gamut and boasts low-blue-light, flicker-free, and low-visual-fatigue certifications. Its eBook Mode provides an ink-on-paper effect and automatically thickened fonts for easier reading over time. It’s professionally calibrated before delivery, so colors displayed on the monitor are as close as possible to those that you see in the real world. There are two MateView SE models — the Standard Edition, which is the version that will be sold in the Philippines, and the Adjustable Swivel Stand Edition, which supports pivot rotation from 0° to 90° vertical pivot, 0mm to 110mm up and down height adjustment, -5°to 18° pitch-angle adjustment, and VESA wall mounting.

The Huawei FreeBuds Pro 2 TWS earbuds are co-engineered with highly regarded audio brand Devialet. They explore new possibilities of audio with True Sound dual drivers, dual-device connection, triple adaptive EQ, Intelligent ANC 2.0, and 4-mic Call Noise Cancellation system. These FreeBuds likewise support LDAC high-resolution codec and are certified by both HWA and Hi-Res Audio Wireless.

The Huawei WiFi Mesh 3 and WiFi AX3 Pro give you access to Whole Home WiFI 6 Plus, with the Mesh 3 letting you enjoy high-speed WiFi up to more than 250 connections that cover 400 square meters and the AX3 Pro getting peak theoretical speeds of 3,000 Mbps and support for smart office acceleration, one touch-connect, and visualized WiFi Diagnosis.

Building an ecosystem

The official introduction of the products at the Huawei APAC Smart Office Launch 2022 was in keeping with the technology giant’s goal to release devices that are created with an all-scenario design concept in mind.

“Huawei focuses on a 1+8+N concept to connect a wide range of products and serve five scenarios better, including Smart Office, Fitness and Health, Entertainment, Smart Home, and Easy Travel,” Huawei Device Asia Pacific president Louie Lyu said.

Recall that the “1” in 1+8+N refers to the smartphone, which we use every day; “8” stands for non-handset products frequently used in specific scenarios, such as PCs, tablets, wearables, headphones, speakers, glasses, vehicle-mounted units, and TVs; and “N” denotes the smart devices provided by ecosystem partners.

This time, though, the focus is on exploring the possibilities of a Smart Office.
