The ASUS ROG Phone 6, OnePlus Ace, and iQOO Z6 topped the flagship, sub-flagship, and midrange categories, respectively, in Antutu‘s October 2022 performance rankings of Android smartphones released in China. How about for the month of November?

The most recent report shows that two of them retained their spots, while the ROG model fell out of the top 10. The new king of the high-end space is the Vivo X90 with an average Antutu benchmark score of 1,194,521. It’s the lone unit powered by a 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 9200 5G chipset. The rest of the handsets that made it into the flagship list relies on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 SoC, which still uses a 4nm fabrication process. However, the American chipmaker has switched foundries — from Samsung to Taiwan’s TSMC — for better efficiency numbers.

Among sub-flagship devices, the OnePlus Ace, OnePlus Ace Racing Edition, and OPPO Reno8 Pro Plus MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Max phones ruled the charts with respective average benchmark scores of 824,431, 823,856, and 815,480. No Qualcomm-based models entered the top 10 in November 2022.

It’s a different case for the midrange category. Some of the other Android smartphones deemed best-performing besides first-placer iQOO Z6 are all powered by Snapdragon processors, such as the iQOO Z5, OPPO Reno8 Pro, Xiaomi Civi 2, and Honor 70. Except for one. The Redmi Note 12 Explorer Edition, which is equipped with a Dimensity 1080 5G chip and supports up to 210 watts of fast charging, landed 10th with 487,485 points.
