One of the most successful free-to-play mobile games of all time is getting a much-requested update next month.

PUBG: New State, the successor to PUBG Mobile, will be available for download on Android and iOS devices globally beginning November 11. The announcement was made by Krafton, the creator of the highly successful PC and console battle-royale game PUBG: Battlegrounds.

The game, which has surpassed more than 50 million pre-registrations on Android and iOS, will be released in more than 200 countries, following a final technical test in select places from October 29 to October 30. The following will take part in the soft launch of PUBG: New State:

• Northeast Asia: Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macao
• Southeast Asia: Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Cambodia, Myanmar, Maldives, Laos
• Middle East: Saudi, United Arab Emirates, Yemen, Jordan, Iraq, Qatar, Kuwait, Egypt, Oman, Lebanon, Bahrain
• Europe: Turkey

As expected, New State will adopt the same multiplayer-focused gameplay mechanics of its predecessor, but is set in the year 2051 to offer a more futuristic gaming experience that includes drones. Graphics-wise, the game is said to “push the boundaries of what was previously possible on mobile platforms” and “uses state-of-the-art rendering technology” similar to the PC release of PUBG: Battlegrounds.

Upon release, PUBG: New State will have four unique maps, including the future-set Troi and Erangel. Additionally, Krafton promises to implement strong anti-cheat measures and will ban the use of unauthorized programs, emulators, as well as mouse-and-keyboard input.
