Realme has made quite a stir in the Philippine market since its official launch in the country in November last year.

The young sub-brand of OPPO has managed to accomplish a lot for a company that’s just turning 100 days on February 26. It has presence online through Lazada and Shopee and has partnered with more than 1,500 stores nationwide. Recently, it opened its first official concept kiosk at SM North EDSA. Twenty-three service centers are open to attend to your needs. And it released the Tech Backpack, Earbuds, and of course, the P5,990 (around $115) Realme C1, too.

But when is it going to launch a new smartphone in the Philippines? Fortunately, you won’t have to wait long. At a press briefing yesterday, PR manager Eason de Guzman Jr. revealed that one will be announced likely in March. Is it something that’s been out in other markets, we at Revü asked. Cheaper or more expensive than the Realme C1?

He said the model is not out anywhere yet — and it’s definitely more premium than the C1.

At the time, incidentally, Realme India started teasing a device on Twitter. Look.

2 + 1. Realme 3 coming soon?

We still remember arithmetic, so we’re willing to bet it’s the Realme 3. 😉 And it’s the one that is going to be available in the Philippines soon. This development comes days after this video of CEO Madhav Sheth surfaced online.
