OPPO Philippines has a new midrange smartphone. And as you may have seen on our site as well as on the brand’s official social media accounts, it’s the OPPO A92 that we are talking about.

We’ve published our first impressions of the handset, and we will also post our full review by tomorrow. But if you’re already sold on the latest entry in the A series, below are the local pricing and availability details for the OPPO A92.

Like its predecessor, the OPPO A9 2020, the A92 has a suggested retail price of P15,990 (about $319 converted). It will be available for preorder starting tomorrow, June 20, until the 26th. The first day of sale is scheduled for June 27, and those who purchase the phone during the preorder period will receive a free Rockspace P62 Pro power bank worth P1,299 ($26).

You can buy the A92 from any OPPO concept store or authorized retailer offline, while those who prefer to shop online can make their purchase at OPPO’s official stores on Lazada and Shopee. Twilight Black and Shining White are your color options. We highly recommend the latter if you’re after something that looks youthful and unique at the same time.

In terms of specs, the phone is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 under the hood and paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The LCD screen has been upgraded with a punch-hole design and FHD+ resolution, while the rear camera still has four sensors and dedicated lenses for landscapes, portraits, and macro shots. The battery backup is also 5,000mAh, but now has support for 18-watt fast charging over USB-C.

Additionally, the OPPO A92 is one of the first phones in the company’s stable that ships with Color OS 7.1 overlay based on Android 10. The software offers a major UI overhaul that includes a custom font and a new color palette across the system. Naturally, the new ColorOS version brings with it some familiar Android 10 features, such as a system-wide dark mode with support for more third-party apps and improved privacy and location controls.
