The Huawei Nova 7 5G, the more powerful sibling of the Nova 7 SE 5G, is official in the country. And it’s priced at P23,990 (roughly 488 converted) — or P4,000 ($81) more than the SE model.

The Huawei Nova 7 5G, along with the Pro version, is the first smartphone to use the new HiSilicon Kirin 985 5G chip.

The SoC features one Cortex-A76 prime core and three big (also Cortex-A76) and four small (Cortex-A55) cores and is integrated with Mali-G77 graphics with Kirin Gaming+ 2.0 technology for a blazing-fast graphics performance.

With Kirin 985, it’s possible to get theoretical maximum download and upload speeds of 1.2Gbps and 173Mbps, respectively. It likewise has 5G anti-jamming, 5G low-latency, 5G energy-efficient, and 5G high-speed performance functions.

Other features of the Huawei Nova 7 5G include a 64-megapixel quad camera, a 32-megapixel selfie shooter housed in a punch hole at the upper-left part of the 6.53-inch OLED display, a 4,000mAh battery with support for 40-watt fast charging, Android 10-based EMUI 10.1, and an under-screen fingerprint sensor.
