Vivo V21 series launching in the Philippines soon

Good news, Vivo fans: The company’s latest midrange lineup is coming to the Philippines soon.

Only a few days after releasing the flagship Vivo X60 with Zeiss optics and Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chip, the brand is getting ready to make the Vivo V21 series official in the country.

It sent us at Revü the 5G-ready V21 (our review should be up by tomorrow, May 25) about a week ago, so that model is already in the bag. We just don’t know if the 4G version will be available here, too. As for the Vivo V21e, it’s in the official launch teaser; consider it coming as well.

Vivo V21 series Philippine launch teaser

Everything about the Vivo V21 5G and Vivo V21 4G is similar, from the 64-megapixel triple rear camera and 44-megapixel selfie sensor to the 6.44-inch AMOLED display, except the latter’s MediaTek Dimensity 800U processor doesn’t have a 5G modem built in and is not available in Arctic White.

The Vivo V21e, on the other hand, also basically has the same specs as the other two phones. However, it uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G chip; its front-facing camera gets electronic image stabilization instead of optical image stabilization and drops the dual LED flash; and it has an additional betwixt-designed variant.

Abroad, the three Vivo V21 series smartphones are priced as follows:

- 8GB + 128GB: ₹29,990 (around P19,777 or $411 in India)
- 8GB + 256GB: 32,990 (P21,755 or $452 in India)
Vivo V21: RM1,600 (P18,557 or $386 in Malaysia)
