It seems that Vivo Philippines has no plans of stopping from introducing new products just yet. After launching the Vivo V23 5G, V23e, and Y21T, it is set to roll out another smartphone to local stores real soon.

(Update, April 8: We list our favorite features of the Vivo Y73, weeks after we started using it!)

(Update, March 11: We already know the price, specs, ad availability of the Vivo Y73 in the Philippines!)

The company said the Vivo Y73 will become available in the country to “enable the younger generation to live #ForTheBestStories with its stunning rear camera quality, trendy design, and other features.”

We don’t know if the one that’s coming here is the same version that was sold in India last year, even though they do look the same. All Vivo told us is that the Y73’s rear camera system can take bokeh and macro shots and features Super Night mode, Electronic Image Stabilization, and Dual-View mode. The phone is said to have a bold design, come in two colors, and get an anti-glare glass to keep the screen and back panel fingerprint-free. Unlocking it should be quick, and there should be support for fast charging as well.

For reference, we are sharing with you the specs of the Vivo Y73 model that was released in India below:

  • 6.44-inch AMOLED display, FHD+ resolution
  • Octa-core MediaTek Helio G95 processor
  • Mali-G76 GPU
  • 8GB RAM
  • 128GB storage
  • Triple 64-megapixel main, 2-megapixel portrait, and 2-megapixel macro rear cameras
  • 16-megapixel front camera
  • Under-display fingerprint reader
  • 4,000mAh battery with 33-watt USB-C charging
  • Funtouch OS 11. 1 based on Android 11
  • Color options: Diamond Flare, Roman Black

The Y73 Indian variant was priced at ₹20,990 (around P14,265 or $401 converted) at launch.
