The OPPO Reno8 series, which will likely comprise the Reno8 5G and Reno8 Z 5G on the local market, is scheduled to launch in the Philippines on September 1. Both Reno8 models have already gone official in other countries, so their specifications should be no mystery to anyone who follows the smartphone scene closely.

(Update, August 22: The OPPO Reno8 series is up for preorder in the Philippines!)

What remains shrouded in uncertainty, however, are the pricing and availability details for the two devices — or at least that is the ideal scenario leading up to OPPO‘s local launch. Until today, it seems.

With a couple of weeks left before the company’s Reno8 lineup announcement in the Philippines, we at Revü have come across multiple online listings for the OPPO Reno8 Z 5G, suggesting the phone will be priced at P18,999 (around $340) or P19,999 ($358) when it hits retail shelves.

Of course, that’s hardly surprising considering the Reno7 Z 5G was priced at P19,999 ($358) at the time of its release. And if there is anything you must know about the Reno8 Z 5G, it’s that the new model shares virtually the same specs sheet as the latest edition, right down to its Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G chipset and 64-megapixel main camera.

The back design is different on the Reno8 Z 5G, but then again, it’s not all that different from what we saw on the previous iteration.

Thankfully, the standard Reno8 5G boasts a new aesthetic and is powered by a more powerful 5G processor compared to its predecessor. It also debuts OPPO’s faster 80-watt SuperVOOC charging standard in the Philippines, up from the Reno7 5G’s 65-watt fast-charging rate. The MediaTek Dimensity 900-based Reno7 5G was originally priced at P26,999 ($483) when it arrived in local stores back in March.
