OPPO Philippines has lifted the veil off the newest “portrait expert” additions to its Reno series of smartphones.

(Update, January 5, 2023: The OPPO Reno8 5G has a new color variant, and it has 12GB RAM and Android 13-based ColorOS 13. Find out how much the latest version is!)

(Update, December 21: The OPPO Reno8 Pro 5G is now available in the Philippines, more than three months after the Reno8 and Reno8 Z were launched locally!)

The OPPO Reno8 and OPPO Reno8 Z — both with access to 5G courtesy of MediaTek’s Dimensity 1300 and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 695, respectively — are now official in the country. The more premium model is priced at P27,999 (roughly $495), while the more wallet-friendly Reno8 Z sells for P19,999 ($354).

Preorder either of the two from any OPPO brand store, partner dealer, or official store on Shopee, Lazada, or TikTok Shop between September 1 and September 8, and you’ll get a free pair of OPPO Enco Buds. Online buyers will also receive a “P1,000 ($18) off” voucher and have a chance to win an OPPO Pad Air, which is the company’s first tablet offering in the Philippines.

Now, if you trade in your old handset for the Reno8 5G or Reno8 Z 5G at a participating OPPO concept store, you’ll receive a free sterilizer box and additional discount on top of your phone’s trade-in value.
