This could be the 5th official Xiaomi store in the Philippines

Xiaomi continues to expand its footprint in the Philippines. Another Mi Authorized Store is set to open its doors in the country soon. This time, the location of what could possibly be Xiaomi’s fifth official shop is in the southern part of the Philippine capital.

Specifically, it is located at Starmall Alabang in Muntinlupa City. Just last month, Xiaomi inaugurated its third and fourth dedicated retail locations in the country, both in Quezon City.

We have yet to receive an invite to the Starmall Alabang location’s opening, but it’s likely that it will be open for business in time for the annual holiday shopping craze. As far as we know, the store at the said mall isn’t among the five originally planned for the Philippines in 2018. Another one will open at SM Mall of Asia to also cater to those who live in the southern end of Metro Manila.

A company executive had confirmed to us in March that Xiaomi was looking at the possibility of putting up shops in Cebu City in the Visayas region and in Davao City in Mindanao. Sure enough, construction is underway for a Mi Authorized Store to open at Davao’s Gaisano Mall or Gmall.
