Christmas may be over, but that doesn’t mean you’d have to wait long for the No. 1 smartphone brand in the Philippines to offer their handsets and TechLife devices at discounted prices.

You see, Realme Philippines is kicking off the new year with a payday sale for those who are still looking for value-for-money gadgets. From January 15 to January 17, at the Lazada Sulit Sweldo Sale, you can get up to P8,000 (roughly $156 converted) off the brand’s products at its official store on LazMall.

The item that will have the most substantial price cut is the Realme Book. The 11th Gen Intel Core i3 variant of the company’s first laptop will be available for only P29,990 ($587) instead of P37,990 ($743). The P47,990 ($939) i5 version, on the other hand, will be selling for just P41,990 ($821).

Think of the savings you’ll get when you purchase this capable ultraportable that boasts features such as a 14-inch 2K IPS panel that delivers up to 400 nits of peak brightness, 8GB of dual-channel LPDDR4x RAM, up to 512GB of SSD storage, a 54Wh battery with 65-watt PD charging that can be topped up from zero to 50% in just 30 minutes, and an OS that can be upgraded to Windows 11 for free.

Looking for an affordable midrange phone instead? You may want to check out the Realme 8i. The 6GB/128GB model, which costs P11,990 ($235), can be snapped up for only P10,989 ($215) from the 15th to the 17th. The 8i brings the MediaTek Helio G96 chip and 120Hz screen to a more affordable segment. Its display is big at 6.6 inches, and creating content should be made easier with its 50-megapixel triple rear camera. Plus you get a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18-watt fast charging, a user interface that’s based on Android 11, and a Very Peri — okay, fine, Space Purple — shade besides the usual black color variant.

Searching for a tablet? There’s the Realme Pad, the former OPPO sub-brand’s first tablet. All of its three memory configurations will be P2,000 ($39) off for a limited time, meaning you can buy the 3GB/32GB, 4GB/64GB, and 6GB/128GB models for just P8,990 ($176), P12,990 ($254), and P14,990 ($293), respectively. For not a lot of money, you’ll be getting something that’s designed to be a portable entertainment powerhouse. The touch display measures 10.4 inches; there are four Dolby Atmos speakers; and the battery is big at 7,100mAh.
