The recently established yet already successful company, an offshoot of OPPO, has scheduled an online launch of the Realme C2 for May 31. The Realme C2 brings back the diamond-cut exterior of the Realme 2. The logo now sits vertically on the lower left side of the back panel instead of horizontally in the middle part. And the screen already comes with a waterdrop notch instead of a big cutout.

Underneath the hood, you’ve got a Helio P22 chip paired with up to 3GB of RAM and as much as 32GB of expandable storage. The battery’s capacity is big at 4,000mAh. Plus, the OS is based on Android 9.0 Pie.

We’re guessing the Realme C2 will be priced a bit lower than the Realme C1, considering its positioning in the market. In India, the version with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of native storage costs ₹5,999 (around P4,510 or $86) while the 3GB/32GB variant retails at ₹7,999 (P6,014 or $115). 2018’s entry-level model, on the other hand, was sold at ₹6,999 (P5,261 or $101) at launch.

In the Philippines, the C1 was initially available for P5,990 ($115). Will the Realme C2’s price in the country be between P4,990 ($96 and P5,490 ($105)? Let’s all watch the online unveiling to find out.
