While we haven’t seen the OPPO A93 5G arrive in the Philippines — at least not yet — another A9x series phone is coming to the country soon.

The company has started teasing the OPPO A94, otherwise known as the Reno5 F in Kenya. And based on the many posts we’ve seen online, including in the comments section of the Facebook post announcing the A94’s impending Philippine launch, it is up for preorder until March 19. The alleged P13,999 (roughly $289 converted) price and Bluetooth speaker freebie for early adopters are also mentioned.

OPPO A94 Philippine launch teaser

It seems that the OPPO A94 will be one of the featured handsets in the season 7 tournament of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League as well. It’s likely, as the company, which became the No. 1 smartphone vendor in the Philippines last quarter, has gone all out in supporting the electronic-sports industry. Besides MPL, OPPO is also sponsoring the local leg of the 2021 League of Legends: Wild Rift SEA Icon Series.

But again, until the manufacturer itself confirms everything that’s been shared online thus far, please take it with a grain of salt first.

Powered by a Helio P95 chip, the OPPO A94 features 8GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, a 4,310mAh battery that supports 30 watts of fast charging, and Android 11 with ColorOS 11.1 on top. It boasts a 48-megapixel quad camera on the back, a 32-megapixel selfie shooter, and a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen.
