Realme Dimensity 1200 5G phone confirmed to launch soon

MediaTek, which became the world’s biggest chipset vendor in Q3 2020, has launched two new mobile chips that will serve as the follow-ups to the Dimensity 1000+ from last year. The Dimensity 1100 and Dimensity 1200 are the Taiwanese firm’s first products fabricated on a 6nm process, which is more advanced than the 7nm process used to manufacture the Dimensity 1000+.

Redmi Note 9T 5G listing with price shows it’s coming to PH

Exactly a week ago, we reported that the Redmi 9T is headed to the Philippines with a P6,990 (around $145 converted) base price, based on a listing we saw at Xiaomi‘s official stores on Lazada and Shopee. The phone is set to launch in the country January 27 and will be available locally from January 29, according to an updated listing we saw. The Redmi 9T and its 5G-capable sibling, the Redmi Note 9T 5G, made their global debut last January 8.

Vivo Y31, along with X60 series, confirmed to launch in PH

In a blog post we at Revü stumbled upon while checking its site, Vivo Philippines has confirmed the local launch of its flagship Vivo X60 and Vivo X60 Pro in 8GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB, and 12GB/256GB configurations, though no date was announced. And while the arrival of the X60 series is expected, we didn’t expect to see confirmation that another Vivo phone — this time, the Vivo Y31 — will be released soon in the country.

Here’s the easiest way to run Google apps on a Huawei device

Huawei has been effectively left without access to Google and many of its Android applications. Many of the company’s current models — including the Huawei Mate 40 Pro, which runs the latest EMUI 11 software and is an already excellent flagship smartphone sans Google’s help — would have been much easier to recommend if they could run the Play Store, YouTube, Drive, Photos, and a lot more first-party Google apps.

Media-host-turned-businessman Raffy Tulfo launched his own online-retail platform Idol Shopping Network, vowing to compete with the likes of Lazada and Shopee in the Philippines. It will formally go live later this month, presumably via a desktop site and/or an app.
