Just two days ago, Samsung launched its most affordable 5G phone yet. Earlier, a listing was spotted on Geekbench indicating that the said device will have a 4G version.

(Update, March 17: The Samsung Galaxy A52 4G and 5G and Samsung Galaxy A72 4G models are now on sale in Philippines ahead of the Unpacked event at these prices. The Samsung Galaxy A32 4G, on the other hand, will be available locally from this date.)

(Update, February 27: Besides the A32 [which is already official], A52, and A72 4G models, the Galaxy A32 5G and Galaxy A52 5G are coming to the Philippines, too — as indicated by the company’s site. Look!)

(Update, February 19: Philippine-bound: Samsung Galaxy A32, Galaxy A52, and Galaxy A72 4G models!)

The database shows that the Samsung Galaxy A32 with model number SM-A325F is equipped with an MT6769V processor, also known as MediaTek’s Helio G85. It’s the same 4G chip that powers smartphones such as the Realme Narzo 20 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9.

Samsung Galaxy A32 4G Geekbench benchmark scores leak via Revu Philippines

Purported Samsung Galaxy A32 4G listing

The Galaxy A32 4G apparently comes with 6GB of RAM and ships with Android 11 out of the box as well. It notched benchmark scores of 347 and 1,261 in the single- and multi-core Geekbench 5 tests, respectively. More leaks will surely surface in the next couple of weeks.

Let’s just say Samsung Philippines will bring the handset here. Our guess is it will go on sale for P14,990 (roughly $312 converted), considering that its predecessor, the Galaxy A31, initially got that price tag.
