Realme Philippines officially debuted the Realme C1 yesterday, November 29. The budget blower will be available beginning next week, December 5, for as low as P5,490 or $105. Notably, however, the Realme 2 Pro, the company’s flagship phone, may have been there during the announcement, but only on the sidelines; it was not launched.
You read the title right. That’s with a caveat, though: To get the Realme C1 for only P5,490 (roughly $104), you have to buy it during a flash sale happening on Lazada Philippines from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. on December 5.
So much has happened since the establishment of OPPO sub-brand Realme that you’d think it’s more than six months old. It has already released three smartphones and entered five markets — India, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, and Malaysia. Soon, it will be in the Philippines. And come November 28, it will launch the Realme U1.
Realme Philippines will officially make its debut in the country on November 29, as we had reported, with the Realme C1 sure to be one of the first to be offered. A day before that, November 28th, the Realme U1 is expected to launch in India and will be the first smartphone powered by MediaTek’s new Helio P70 processor.
Now, it can be said with certainty: Realme will officially make its debut in the Philippines on November 29. Or just a day after the OPPO sub-brand announces the upcoming Realme U1 smartphone in India, if the rumors pan out in the first place.
