So much has happened since the establishment of OPPO sub-brand Realme that you’d think it’s more than six months old. It has already released three smartphones and entered five markets — India, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, and Malaysia. Soon, it will be in the Philippines. And come November 28, it will launch the Realme U1.

Realme Philippines will officially make its debut in the country on November 29, as we had reported, with the Realme C1 sure to be one of the first to be offered. A day before that, November 28th, the Realme U1 is expected to launch in India and will be the first smartphone powered by MediaTek’s new Helio P70 processor.

We have a date! Three days ago, details of the ASUS ZenFone Max Pro M2 surfaced courtesy of someone who has had a history of leaking devices that have not been officially introduced yet. Today, the Taiwanese company itself has revealed the launch date of the smartphone in Indonesia. The date to circle? December 11.

Huawei PH’s ‘1 Peso Super Deal’ promo happening on Nov. 17

Huawei has had a banner year in 2018. Worldwide, it toppled Apple for two consecutive quarters to become the No. 2 smartphone brand. In the Philippines, it landed fifth place in two reports: Counterpoint’s for the second quarter and IDC’s from January to June. The two market research firms were one in saying that Huawei experienced significant growth in the country this year.
